ABOUT PEAK EQUINE BODYWORK

Thank you for considering Peak Equine Bodywork for your horse! With over thirty years of experience in equine massage, I began my training under a seasoned trainer who used equine sports massage to benefit his show horses. Continuing to hone my skills with techniques learned via Equissage, I have worked on horses of many breeds and disciplines.

I obtained official ESMT certification through Equissage, San Diego, CA/Ocala, FL, and built a roster of clients in California. They have included money-winning performance horses, senior horses, and everything in between! I take great care to understand each horse's unique issues. I also build relationships with veterinarians and farriers to ensure that your horse receives the most appropriate massage therapy.

As proof of my thoroughness and understanding of horses, Equine Education, USA/Equissage, a National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork approved training program, uses my case studies to train current students.

I recently relocated to Peyton, CO, with my husband, Keith, my daughter, my reining horse, Reno, and two cats. We plan to add a puppy and a second horse to the mix this summer. As a dedicated member of the Colorado Versatility Ranch Horse Association, a Latigo Ladies Club member, a volunteer at Stable Strides, and a proud sponsor of the Pikes Peak Rangerettes, I am deeply committed to the equine community in Colorado.

I still visit barns in California and Montana, where I have family roots and travel to shows in states that have approved ESMT work.

I look forward to hearing from you and working together to bring your horse to peak performance!

Equine massage can raise your horse's potential in the arena, pen, and trail.  It can also alleviate chronic soreness in senior horses, maintain muscle tone in horses during winter months, and teach rescue horses to welcome human touch.

Regular massage as part of a health routine benefits both money-wining athletes and senior horses at pasture. Sloan has a working knowledge of several equine disciplines and the specific soft-tissue stresses that result from regular training, tack choices, common injuries, and soreness due to conformation.

Peak Equine Bodywork is fully insured.
